Greetings Brothers, as many of you remember, the annual Nu Chapter Alumni Banquet is held on the first Saturday in March, which will be March 2nd this year. The location has been changed to Thomas College, to help boost our visibility to the campus. There will be a cash bar, and the dinner is complimentary. Here is the agenda:
- 4:00 – Happy hour, along with a guest speaker
- 5:00 – Tour of the campus
- 5:30 – Dinner
- 6:00 – Meeting
Afterwards, we will be having an off-campus function at O’Brien’s (the old Pete & Larry’s), and the Actives will be able to join us. We also get a Kappa discount at the Waterville Grand Hotel at the same location, which is 375 Main Street in Waterville (phone: 207-873-0111).

It’s time once again for the annual Nu Chapter Golf Tournament! It is set for Saturday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Salmon Falls Country Club (see directions in sidebar). The cost is $31 per person, which includes a cart, and we have made reservations for 16 people. As has been stated in the past, don’t worry if you don’t know how to play golf, because by the 2nd hole, you’ll swear we don’t either! Come on down!
The “19th hole” will consist of a cookout at the home of Scott Cranston, about a 15 minute drive away in Standish.
The Kappa Delta Phi, Nu Chapter Alumni Association traditionally holds it’s annual Alumni Banquet on the first Saturday in March. This year is no exception, and the date will be March 3rd, with cocktail hour starting at 5:00 p.m. The location is once again at the Lobster Trap, located on 25 Bay Street in Winslow. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner. Hope to see you all there!

The First Annual Shanon Post Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 11th at Salmon Falls Country Club! Tee-time is 10:00 a.m., so plan to get there about 9:30 a.m. Cost is $30 for 18 holes and a cart. Donations are being accepted (to go to Shanon’s children) but are not required to play.
Directions can be found here: http://www.salmonfalls-resort.com/directions.html
Do not worry if you don’t know how to play golf, because by the 2nd or 3rd hole, you’ll swear we don’t either! Plus you get to ride around in a golf cart, and that’s something right there in itself. As an added bonus, the “19th hole” will be at Scott Cranston’s house in Standish.
So come on out, and have some fun for a good cause!
We are also meeting with Alumni Relations at the Thomas College Administration Building at 2:00 p.m.
